One of the absolute favorite toys I ever owned was the original Barbie Townhouse that came out in 1974. I know I am dating myself, but I could play with that house for hours at a time.

It wasn't nearly as attractive as the new beautiful pink townhouses of today, but that didn't matter to me. I especially loved the moving elevator and I had Barbie going up and down in it more than I had her doing anything else. Luckily the new Barbie Dream Townhouses still includes that very popular elevator and girls still love playing with it for hours.

This is a harder-to-find Barbie 3 Story Dream house. Originally manufactured in 2006, you can luckily still get your hands on this new-in-box item.

This is perfect for Barbie fans who want an original house that most others do not have.

It comes fully furnished and is over 3 feet tall!

It includes realistic sounds such as: a doorbell, two different songs on the house intercom, a stove that sizzles and even a flushing toilet.

It opens up with a winding staircase, has a gourmet-style kitchen and even a Murphy bed.
